This plan is ideal for homeowners who want a fast and effective bathroom upgrade without altering the layout or undergoing major construction.
What’s included
Protection & Demolition
- Floor protection
- Z-wall protection (dust and splash barrier)
- Bathtub covering or shower/tub protection
- Demolition of existing wall and floor tiles
- Conversion of bathtub to shower or shower to bathtub (if applicable)
- Garbage removal and site cleanup
Wall & Substrate Preparation
- Installation of cement board and water-resistant drywall in wet areas
- Existing framing to remain (unless otherwise specified)
- Waterproofing of floor and wet areas according to code
- PVC membrane installation (if applicable for shower)
- Wall surface repair and preparation after demolition
Electrical
- Retrofit ceiling lights (to remain in existing locations)
Plumbing
- Installation of new bath fixtures (to remain in existing locations)
- Replacement of shower control valve
- Installation of new shower head (same location)
- Inspection of existing plumbing lines
- Installation of new toilet (same location)
Tile Installation
- Floor tile installation
- Tiling of shower or bathtub area up to ceiling height
- Grouting of all tile installations
- Installation of base moldings

How long does the Smart Refresh take?
Most projects are completed in 5–7 business days, depending on tile choice and delivery timelines.
Will there be any changes to my bathroom layout?
No — this plan keeps your existing layout. Fixtures are replaced in the same locations.
Can I supply my own vanity or tiles?
Yes! You’re welcome to provide specific materials. We’ll review them before installation to ensure compatibility.
What type of tile is included?
We include high-quality ceramic tile options in neutral tones. You can upgrade to premium styles or sizes if you’d like.
Is plumbing or electrical work included?
We replace existing fixtures and lighting in the same locations. Any reconfiguration would require an upgrade to the Custom Comfort or Full Remodel plan.
Will I be without a bathroom during the process?
Yes — during the renovation, the bathroom will be unavailable. We recommend planning around this for convenience.
